Dr. Daniel Bober, a quadruple board-certified physician in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine, will serve as the Medical Director to provide ongoing psychiatric evaluation and medication management. Klay Weaver, Lifeskills South Florida Chief Executive Officer shares, “For 29 years, Lifeskills South Florida has offered quality, ethical care to adults with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. The expansion of our Outpatient Program to a location closer to our FARR-certified transitional living arrangements will strengthen the clinical experience and outcomes for our outpatient clients.”
Lifeskills South Florida Outpatient Center offers programs that provide ongoing interdisciplinary assessment and intensive treatment. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) serves both as an intervention to prevent hospitalization when problems are escalating, and as a step-down from hospitalizations or residential treatment programs. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) also allows individuals who are experiencing emerging mental health issues to gain a solid foundation before stepping down into traditional outpatient services or offer added support when current treatment is not frequent enough. Transitional living is available to support clients moving from semi-independent living to an independent lifestyle.
The grand opening celebration will take place at Lifeskills Outpatient Center located at 440 SE 5th Avenue,
Delray Beach, Florida, 33483. Parking will be available onsite for public use. For more information or to arrange an interview, please contact Heather Hendren at Heather.Hendren@lifeskillssf.com.
