New Sow Technology Designed to Enhance Animal-Welfare

As technology in agricultural advances, Once, Inc. animal-centric lighting systems were one of the many highlights at a brand new, next generation swine facility in Thorp, WI. Their LED lighting systems were designed to enhance the welfare of an animal by reducing their stress and overall calmness.

(ONCE®) animal-centric lighting systems were one of the many highlights at the brand new, next generation swine facility open house hosted by New Fashion Pork and Hanor Farms on September 8th. The Thorp, WI farm is a first of its kind in the U.S. It features ONCE® lighting, open pen gestation, electronic feed stations, freedom stalls and more.
