Norwich Trampoline Park Meets the Required British Standard for Safety

High Altitude trampoline park, announced that its operation meets the newly published safety standard requirements.

NORWICH, UNITED KINGDOM - 06/02/2017 /EASY NEWSWIRE/ — This week High Altitude, the Norwich based trampoline park, announced that its operation meets the newly published safety standard requirements. These standards were produced in association with the International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP), detailing the required policies and procedures to ensure maximum levels of safety at all time.

Fran Habbitts, Managing Director of High Altitude had the following to say about the announcement: “Since the first day of our operations we have consistently delivered a completely safe environment that our clients can enjoy. There will always be an element of risk in every trampoline park, but we know it is our duty to be as vigilant as possible.”

The safety standards for trampoline parks were released in March of this year. Previously there were no rules in place so the IATP has been pursuing these standards and holding regular conferences to discuss the options. High Altitude welcomed the introduction of guidelines and contributed to them along with other UK parks during a constructive meeting with the IATP.

As a member of the organisation, High Altitude is rigorously adhering to the new IATP guidelines and is well on its way to being fully compliant with the new rules and requirements.  High Altitude are consistently making improvements and introducing new procedures in line with the recommendations from the IATP and also in response to park activity and customer feedback.

Amongst the requirements of this safety standard are rules that cover the days to day operations of the park, risk assessments, method statements and regular inspections to ensure that all equipment is safe to use. High Altitude is also insured by the IATP’s recommended insurance company, which was included in the discussion to help develop standards.

The IATP recommends that trampoline users and enthusiasts only use approved centres, which will prominently feature stickers on the doors or windows of reception areas.

High Altitude is one of Norwich’s most popular trampoline parks, serving hundreds of exercise and fun focused clients on a weekly basis. Located on Whiffler Road, outside of the city’s centre it offers an expansive and safe environment that’s been fully operational since July 2015.
