SUMNER COLLEGE RECEIVES GRANT OF INSTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION FROM ACCREDITING BUREAU OF HEALTH EDUCATION SCHOOLS
Sumner College is pleased to announce that it has received a new grant of Institutional Accreditation from the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES). Institutional Accreditation from ABHES has been granted for the Associate Degree in Nursing Program (ADN) and the Practical Nursing Program (PN). The college was formally recognized by ABHES and received an award for an initial Grant of Institutional Accreditation that resulted in zero citations at the Cascade Campus.
Joanna Russell, who has served as President of Sumner College for the past 10 years, felt honored to be recognized. “I am proud of our team and accepted the Outstanding Achievement award from ABHES on behalf of our entire staff and faculty”. Ms. Russell is looking forward to working with ABHES in the coming year as they plan on “launching additional programs in the field of healthcare that will support the needs of the local community”.
