These Tan Lines Don't Fade - Raising Awareness to Fight Melanoma

Each year in the United States, nearly 5 million people are treated for all skin cancers combined. Melanoma is responsible for the most deaths of all skin cancers, with nearly 9,000 people dying from it each year. It is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among people ages 15-29 and the most preventable. It is estimated that 1 in 5 people will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. The Surgeon General has declared skin cancer an epidemic in the United States.
